Rooftop System
Rooftop Systems include the tank on the roof. This means the water can circulate from the tank to the panels by natural convection. This system is the most cost effective solar hot water system.
There are many options available, frost free (anti-freeze), titan panels (increased efficiency), tank sizes, even colour matched tanks and the list goes on. Different sizes of panels and tanks mean that you will never run out of hot waterL Series 2
If your home is in a temperate or tropical zone, which is not subject to frost, and you have good quality drinking water, the L Series 2 System is ideal.LX Series 2
For areas which experience frost or snow and perhaps have less than reliable water quality, the Edwards LX Series 2 System is the only choice.Australis Hot Water Panel
If your home is situated in a temperate or tropical zone - then the Edwards Australis Series 2 Hot Water Panel is for you.
Titan Series 2 Hot Water Panel
Designed especially for high performance in cooler climates -
Split System
Water is circulated from a tank on the ground up to the panels on the roof. This type of system has the best aesthetic appeal. There are just slim line panels on the roof
GTD Series 2
The GTD Series 2 is an open circuit solar water heater consisting of roof mounted solar collectors and a ground mounted cylinder.
GTS Series 2
The Edwards GTS all Climate solution is a split solar water heater with roof mounted solar collectors and a ground mounted storage cylinder. This system has an instantaneous gas booster.Australis Hot Water Panel
If your home is situated in a temperate or tropical zone - then the Edwards Australis Series 2 Hot Water Panel is for you.

Heat Pump
Here is an exciting new development in energy saving hot water systems. The new Heat Pump Water Heater from Edwards is the only solution for your home when panels on the roof are not an option. This revolutionary unit uses the air around the unit to heat the water. Visually is does not appear very different form a normal outdoor hot water service.
The basic principle of the Heat Pump water heater is similar to a refrigerator working in reverse. When hot water is drawn off and cold water enters the tank, the thermostat activates a fan, a compressor and a circulator.
The fan draws the outside air in through the air inlet louvres at the top of the water heater and the pump circulates the water from the bottom of the storage tank and through a heat exchanger. Heat is absorbed from the air by an evaporator and transferred into the water through a heat exchanger.
The resulting cold air is then discharged through the air outlet louvres back to the atmosphere and the heated water is circulated back into the top of the storage tank.
This process continues whenever heating is required until the water in the storage tank reaches a temperature of 60 degrees.
Even on cold days, heat is drawn from the surrounding air.
The Heat Pump will operate from 5 degrees to 55 degrees.
The Heat Pump has a normal booster in case temperatures drop below 5 degrees.
The Heat Pump is up to 291% more efficient than a conventional electric water heater.
Tank size is 310L
